Pros and Cons of Kia with a Panoramic Sunroof
If you’ve never had a car with a panoramic sunroof, you might not know how it is. It has its advantages, but also disadvantages.
Pros:
- Your friends and family will love it. I personally own a car with a panoramic sunroof, and I have to admit that whenever someone is getting into my car, he always pays attention to the sunroof. Your car might be boring, but with a sunroof, it’s way more attractive.
- Your car looks better. A car with a panoramic sunroof doesn’t look better only from the inside but also from the outside. There aren’t many cars on the streets with a panoramic sunroof that looks like a black roof from afar. It looks even more impressive when your car is white.
- You can see more at the stoplights. Driving a car with a panoramic sunroof taught me that you could draw up even really close to the stoplights, and you will still see them through the glass. It dramatically improves your safety.
- It warms up Your car in the winter. If you leave a car for some time on a sunny but cold day in the winter, and you get into your car again, you might be surprised. Your car’s interior might be pleasantly warm, and you don’t even have to use air conditioning.
- It’s easier to sell a car. Kias with a panoramic sunroof are rather a scarcity. If you are looking to sell your car, it might be easier for you and you can sell it more expensively, because it’s a feature that most cars don’t have.

Cons:
- It requires some maintenance. From time to time, your panoramic sunroof needs some maintenance. It would be good to clean it with a window cleaner once or twice a month because it collects lots of dust and other dirt that don’t look good.
- It can overheat your car in the summer. If you leave your car on a hot day with a panoramic sunroof uncovered, it might be extremely hard to get into it. The interior will overheat more than with a conventional roof, and you will have to open the doors and use air conditioning to cool it down.
- Less headroom. A panoramic sunroof takes some space. It will usually take 1 or 1.5 inches. If you aren’t too high, it will not impact your comfort, but if you’re over 6.4 ft (195cm), it might not be comfortable for you.
